Mrs. Lisa Emendorfer

Welcome to the 25-26 school year.

You may have noticed by now that my email signature includes a quote from Neale Donald Walsh “Life begins at the end of our comfort zone”.  Participation in Jr/Sr high activities should bring students to the edge of their comfort zone and help them to grow life skills in leadership, communication, collaboration, and character development.  Learning to lead, collaborate and communicate when things are going well and when things are difficult builds the character necessary to create a strong foundation for life.

This year I would like to challenge both myself, our students and our parents to participate in something new, it is easy to stay in our comfort zone of activity and friend groups. Invite someone new to sit at your table, pick a new partner in class, join a group, club, organization or activity that will challenge you to strengthen your “comfort zone wings”.

My goal for our Activities Department is to provide a stable, safe, and exciting environment for students to learn, grow and push the edge of their comfort zone, whether on the field, court, or mat, at the concert, play, or theater performance.
