Athletics

Sherrard High School offers a variety of competitive sports to our students including:  Football, Boy’s and Girl’s Cross Country, Boy's and Girl's Golf, Volleyball, Boy's and Girl's Soccer, Dance Team, Cheerleading, Boy’s and Girl’s Basketball, Wrestling, Boy’s and Girl’s Track, Baseball and Softball.  Sherrard High School belongs to the Three River’s Athletic Conference (TRAC). All sports are played at the Sherrard High School Campus, 4701 - 176th Ave, Sherrard, with the exception of soccer and golf.  Sherrard co-ops with Orion High School for soccer and some home games are played at Sherrard High School and some are played at Orion High School, 1002 11th Ave., Orion.  Golf is played at Fyre Lake Golf Course, 1057 Fairway Lane, Sherrard.

Sports Physical

All students participating in any sport must have a current physical on file before they are allowed to tryout and/or practice. Physicals are active for one calendar year plus 30 days from the date of the physical.  If the physical expires during the middle of a sport season, they will not be allowed to practice or play until a new physical is received.  The IHSA sport physical form can be picked up in the high school office or at the link below.  Please contact the athletic office or school nurse if you have any questions.
