Sherrard High School was proud to host our annual Achievement Awards Ceremony. It was a special evening dedicated to the hard work, character, and academic dedication of these remarkable students.

On April 30, 2026, Sherrard High School hosted a Trades Fair featuring 30 local businesses, providing students with invaluable firsthand exposure to diverse career opportunities.

PFC Terry Dinges, U.S. Marine Corps, and SPC Clark Mortensen, U.S. Army, representing the Erie American Legion Post 582, visited the High School Ag shop today to present official plaques to Mr. Rasty’s Ag Metal Fabrication 2 class.

Sherrard’s welding program continues its reign of excellence, securing 1st place for the 5th year in a row at the 8th Annual Black Hawk College Welding Invitational at the college’s Welding and Skilled Trades Center in Kewanee.

Prom was a wonderful event again this year, held Saturday, April 18 at The Camden Centre, Milan.

n April 2026, Sherrard Robotics teams competed in the Quad City Engineering and Science Council (QCESC) Trebuchet “Spring Fling” competition at Bettendorf High School.

On Sunday afternoon, March 29, 2026, the Sherrard Junior High and Sherrard High School bands took to the stage in Gym 1 for their annual Spring Band Concert.
